Hello Everyone,
I know it has been a while since I have posted a new card. But I will make up for the lost time. Work was really busy. .... It's funny how work sometimes get in the way of fun.
Here is my card recipe:
I decided to create my own background. I used Just Rite pattern basic set stamp to create the background. Its actually on sale right now. I love this stamp for those creations....I can do a lot with it. I added washi tape that was on my table. I actually not sure who it is by.. it's so long about I bought is. I used Tim Holts car stamp and enjoy the journey. I colored using Copics.
I couldn't stop myself and added some sequence... I like shiny things.
That's it.

Chalkboard Card
Hello,
I needed to create quite a few thank you cards. So I used chalkboard technique to do so.
This card is easy to replicate.
Here is the card:
I've started with creating a tag. This is the time I wished I had tag punch or die cut. I have stamped and embossed the Just Rite greeting in the middle and then stamped again with white die ink. Because this ink takes forever to dry I smudged it all around to create that chalkboard look. I created white dash lines to pull it all together.
I used Stampin Up background stamp. I was trying to avoid Stampin Up but they had sale on... and how can I say no to "sale". The flowers I just pulled out of my hoarding box. This is the flowers that I bought at Wal Mart long time ago. I could've created my own flowers but I really need to use what's in my hoarding box.
I couldn't decide which flowers look better. What do you think?

Card in a Box 3D
Hello Everyone,
I was loosing my creative mojo and I turned to my trusty YouTube for ideas. I looked at few different techniques but card in a box caught my attention. I am always fascinated by different card fold. I haven't try this one before so I decided to give it a go.
Here is youtube link on how to do it, if you would want to try
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKWp-fz-ukk
Here is the card:
I've started with craft cardstock to create the base for the card. If you follow the instructions on YouTube video it's really easy. I have pulled out my pattern paper. I don't use pattern paper often. This was from recollection. It was sitting in my drawing for long... long time. I feel that if I will use pattern paper then I won't have this pretty paper anymore.... Yes I know I am hoarder... my addiction confession: " Hi My name is Stacy and I am hoarder" ... See I can admit to it :)
I glued my panels to the card base and use seweasy stitch stamper. I am not a fan of this product but since I have it I will use it. I couldn't get a straight line.... so I gave up and made all the lines tilted. Let's call it a design :P I have out the box card together and I am ready to decorate.
I have stamped all my flowers I used JustRite seeds of summer stamp... it seems to be my "go to" stamp for flowers. I did very and I mean very easy colloring. I just lay down a color and then used darker tone to highlight. I normally would spend hours on coloring perfectly and laying tons of layers of different shades and colors. Not this time. There were just too many of them. I fussy cut all of them and I have glued to the tabs inside the box. One thing I found that I had to check my positioning of the flowers to make sure that the card can still close.
For the sentiment: I used thank you from Just rite seeds of summer and for the main quote I got it from affirmation ( "positive thinking") book. It says that if a person constantly see it and repeat it than the person would healthy. I thought what a perfect card to put it on. So I wrote it.
The bonus to this card that I can close it and mail it easily. Although when recipient opens the card it would look like it has a lot of embellishments. There is tons of space to write on this card as well.
That's it for this card. Any thoughts?

Easy Card
Hello Everyone,
There are 2 great things I found this weekend. First I finally found 110 pound paper at Michaels and at 50% off I might add ( super happy). Second everything on kraft card stock looks so much better.
Here is the card:
This one was really... Really easy to make. I started with kraft card stock, stamped Justrite stamps from seed of summer and sentiment. I then embossed it with the white embossing powder.
I have used penny black "love" stamp for to stamp script. I really feel that JR needs a "script" stamp. I've been hinting for a while now :)
I taped around the edges and used light pink ink to to add shading. The coloring on the flowers was really easy. One blue marker from my stash, the embossing ink and kraft card stock did the shading for me. I have added faux stitched lines and the card is done. Really simple. If I ever decide to do tons of "thank you" or "note" cards this would be the design.

Poppies-- I won Yeey JR Challenge
Hello,
I have created another card for the challenge.
Here is how the card is made:
I have started with poppies set from JR. I have layered them and colored using inktense pencils. I love those pencils. They truly have a lot of pigment and tons of punch.
To create a background, I have made my own stamp from embossing folder. There is such a thing as magic stamp. Its a foam that when you heat it you are able to press the impression into it and it holds the shape. That's what I did. I heated it and pressed Tim Holtz embossing folder into it. I have mixed inks to stamp it. Before stamping the background I have taped the edges to create a border.
I used distress market to color in white spots in this nice beige color.
For the sentiment I have found couple letter stickers that I had laying around. I just bought new spellbinder's die with ticket stabs and those worked perfectly. For "you" I have used Simon Says Stamp die cut and covered it with glossy accents.
That's it.

Playing with Masking
Hello,
I've been very busy at work didn't have as much time to play with the last challenge. This new challenge I defiantly wanted to play in.
Here is the card:
I have started with the craft card stock. I created masks using JR stamp set * Seeds of Summer*. Using white pigment ink I 've stamped the flower few time. I had to wait in between the flower for ink to dry so I can mask it.
For the flowers I've used soft color pencils to color the flowers and to add more shine to them I have used perfect pearls as water color idea. I have put some on my craft sheet and added powder.
I love that extra added shine. It really makes flowers pop
To create the boarder, I have used masking tape around the edges and inked with pale pink.
I covered the flowers with the mask while I was doing so. I wanted to create so shadow around the flowers.
I squished some white ink on my craft sheet, deluded with water and splattered the color all over the picture. I did the same with sapphire chipped distressed ink. I stamped sentiment when everything was fairly dry.
I used my ink pen and carefully gone over the letters to make them bright.
Used white gel pen to add the faux stitching and adhered it to the ivory card case. The card is done.

Bunny card
Hello,
I was trying to keep this card in clean and simple style. I couldn't figure out what image I can use. I didn't want to add flowers. I looked around my craft supplies and I found "my little pet shop" coloring book. I bought this coloring book years ago for when I was babysitting and I decided to use one of the characters. I want to make sure that I give the full credit to "my little pet shop" company for coming up with character concepts. Although they have borrowed it from Japanese style. If they have created stamps with the same characters I would buy them all. They are just are so stinking cute.
Here is card:
I've started with trying to figure out the background. I have used Just Rite border stamp and kaleidocolor ink by tsuneko. It is pretty cool ink pad because it has all the colors together but they can be separated if needed.
To create my little bunny I have re drawn image from the color book and colored it with Copics. I used primary C-0, C-3, C-5 and C-7. I know now that once I put copics over the pencil it's really hard to erase the pencil marks. I put my little bunny on the pop dots.
I used stoffee pen to create the fax stitching. It is pretty cool because when you put it on it goes on as
darker color then what it actually will be. I like it because it gives a little puff.
I used Just Rite Grand Sentiments for the sentiment inside and out.
What do you think?

CAS-- Here we go again
Hello,
It seems that my work is taking a lot of my personal time. Don't have as much to create my cards.
This card was created for CAS- JustRite Challenge. I am not the best at CAS card because I always feel that I need to add more.
Here is the card:
I have used pattern paper from recollection. It has little embossing. I used JR medallion stamp and colored with copics put on the pop dot. Used JR thank you stamp for greeting. I did faux stitching to tie the colors together.
On the inside of the card I decided to add a little pocket for a gift card, since it is a "thank you" card.
P.S. I really like the new stamps JR came up with. I hope I win so I can get it to play with it. I am sure even if I don't I will be in my craft store buying in the moment they will come in :)

The first altered Canvas
Hello,
This is my first altered art. It was interesting experience.
It took me a while to get this done. I've started with adding pattern paper and layering embossing paste with stencils. You can't really see the paper anymore. I am thinking I should have stopped with the embossing paste but it's all right. All the embellishments I have created using the molds and UTTE.
For the flowers I have used Cherry Lynn dies and Spellbinders.
I used Tim Holtz dies for the gears and Effie tower.
The toughest part was to put them all together that they would work well.
After I glue everything down I used gesso to create unity.I have used mists to add color. I used the perfect pearl and pearl Ex mists that I have made.
I used the silver rub on the raised portions to bring more attention to those.
I used JR stamps to create the sentiment.
That's it. My first canvas alteration is done.

Spring is in the Air
Hello,
When I think about spring I think birds and flowers.
I have used Cherry Lynn doily and JR Stamps.
I have started cutting out doily using wax paper. I really liked the wax paper cut out. I have used it to create a background. The sprayed it with perfect pearl mist that I made using perfect pearls. I felt that it needed something more and using Prima stencil and embossing paste added the stone texture.
I used copics to color the birds and the flowers from the JR background and cut them out. I really like working with copics. There is so much that can be done to play with color.
I distressed the edges of the panel.
Used JR circle of love for the frame, fussy cut it and inked the edges. Added Viva peals and the card is done.
It came out really pretty.

Frame Card
Hello,
I don't think I have never cut it so close to the deadline... with 10 mins to spare I have entered the card to Cheery Lynn challenge.
I am combining 2 challenges ideas. Just Rite challenge for spring and Cheery Lynn for a shaped card.
When I think of spring I feel flowers and feeling of lightness.
The card is created using Spellbinders 5x7 die. I have bought some time ago but haven't use it.
I have embossed the panel and added flower. This was relatively easy card to make. There are so many tutorials on how to make a shaped card on You Tube.
I've used Tim Holtz embossing folder but I used with defuser because I didn't want the whole panel to be embossed.
I used Cherry Lynn dies for flowers and doily. I love that doily... so pretty.
I've used JustRite stamps for the sentiment.
I am still not sure about this bow on the top. I have put it on and then taken off probably about 100 times.
At the end I decided to leave it.
What do you think?

Enjoy the Ride
Hello,
Here is my easy card using The Shabby Tea Room sketch:
It is one of the fastest card I have made. I used Hero Art & Stampendious stamps for the bicycles. I have created background paper using the stamps. For the sentiment I used Tim Holtz.
I've added glossy accent to bicycle tires. I was going to vintagy feel. I think it worked.d

Little Birdy
Hello,
This is my last card to experiment with backgrounds.
Here is the card:
I have started with bird JustRite background. The original plan was to use that background as embossing but I changed my mind after coloring the bird with Copics. I am having fun with this markers. I just keep on adding different colors to my image.
I have used Winded Vintage stamp set to create the background on the card.
I put the words on my fiskars stamping block ( I love that thing... helps me to stamp straight and because of the foam legs allows me to get the stamp into the right position). I was able to create 2 lines out of the words that come in the stamp set. I used brilliance inks ( pink & skyblue) to create the background.
I've stamped and fussy cut the label. I thought it would go perfectly with leaves. I added more leaves out of my stash around the image to draw more attention to it.
I have poped the image on pop-ups, added a bit of lace and that's it.
What do you think?

Touch of Pink-- Yeey I Won Cheery Lynn Challenge
Hello,
Ladies thank you so much for all your kind comments on my blog, I truly appreciate it ( thank you Shona for your motivation and being my true blue follower. I wish you lived closed... :)
This card was an interesting card to make. It sort of shabby chic meets grunge.
Here is how the card made:
There are a lot of different techniques in this card. I started from using JR background stamp...(you can't actually see it anymore because of all the texture over it).
I've used embossing paste on the sides first to add texture. I have created flowers using build a flower Cherry Lynn dies and Cherry Lynn flourishes. Used the oval die by Cherry Lynn for additional texture. I inked the flowers and flourishes. I did a faux stitching.
When I decided to pull the card together, I was so happy that I didn't add the banner as of yet. Because the card just looked too pink to me, this is when I started really to add ..... well everything I could think of.
I have used wood grain stamp to add texture with embossing paste. Once it dried I added ranger espresso acrylic paint on the wooden grain and around the die cut. Then it looked too dark to me so I started lifting it off with water and added write acrylic paint.
I added Viva pearls to add movement to card. I used JR gratitude stamp set for a sentiment. I thought the font was perfect. I have created banner and added faux stitching.
At that point I decided to stop adding things to card.
What do you think???

Peek a Boo
Hello,
I was trying to do something different with this card.
Here is how it turned out:
I started with a thought in my head to try to use a stamp like I normally wouldn't.
I have used JR frame stamp. Stamped it on the page trying to create a pattern. Then embossed it. Once that done, added gelatos with all kinds of colors, waited to dry and cut out the centers of the frames.
I have stamped JR background and colored it with copics. This is my first image being colored with copics. I cant believe how vibrate colors come out.
I have stamped the embossed frames with the same JR background stamp because I wanted the inside to match the outside.
I put the topper on pop dots and the card is almost done.
I was toying around with idea of adding ribbons and bow but they just didn't work. I really wanted to how the image inside

Suit-- Yeey I won JR Challenge
Hello Everyone
It's my co worker's bday on Monday. It is a guy card. I am really not crazy about them. So I have searched pinterest for ideas. The suit seems to be the most popular type of card. So I decided to make one.
Here is the card:
I have used JR background stamp to create the material texture. The card was easy to figure out the fold. The only place where I got stuck a little bit is on the collar of the shirt. I have couple do overs with it but then I just let it go. I have added faux stitching and pocket clock. I really don't remember what is the name of the stamp set that I got this clock from. I took that set apart and didn't write it down what is the make or model ( sorry) I've added buttons and the suit is done.
On YouTube there is a great video on how to tie a tie from paper. I followed it and the tie came out great from the first time ( yeey). I've added a pearl to it to "class" it up.
On the inside on the shirt I have added small pocket to insert gift card.
That's it.

Love is in the Air
Hello,
One of my friends has gotten engaged and this card was for her. This design took me forever to put together.
Here is the card and close ups:
I finally used some pattern paper. I find I don't use it enough, although I do hoard it well :)...
I have started with picking out the pattern paper that I wanted to play with. I think this is Recollection paper, I have bought at Michaels when it was on sale...
I have distressed the the paper. Cut out 2 pieces and stamped JR boarders to make sure they tie together with the same image. Used my embossing paste and prima stencil to create the "wall" look.
It took some time to dry because I've added a thick layer.
I've added the lace to create shabby chic feel. I wanted to add feeling of "fairy dust".. So I used stampendious frontage embossing powders.
I like those. The glitter is mixed with different thickness embossing powder..... Word of advice, start embossing from the bottom of the paper... don't do what I did, otherwise you will end up with sparkles all over.......
While I was playing with embossing powders on the front of my card I decided to use chipboard and emboss the wooden letters.
I have used Cherry Lynn dies to create the flowers and flourishes. I really love this die for flowers. It takes a bit longer to make but it totally worth it.
The Idea was to put "love" at the bottom of the card and have flowers growing out it with brides and grooms initials. Her name start with an A and his with M.
I have added tons of hearts. I used Martha Stewart punch "heart confetti". I love that punch because it punches 6 hearts at the same time. I added glossy accents on all the hearts and letters.
And The card is ready. I really like how it came out. Here are few close ups of the letters and flowers.

Frame Experiment
Hello,
I was really trying to use JR Challenge inspiration picture. I wanted to combine the pattern.
and Here is what I got:
As many of us crafters, I am in love with Spellbiners. I use the cut out as a frame. I've looked what other wonderful crafters are doing and it seems this die is the die of week :)
I was trying to do something different with this card, instead of regular flowers...For me, the longest part of creating a card is thinking through the design of the card. Then when everything is cut out I would change my mind and start adding things or there are "happy accidents". This what happened with the card. I didn't mean the spellbinder frame get so engraved but when I colored it with gelatos I love how it blended in.
Again... my lighting isn't the best on this picture... it will get better soon :)
What do you think?

JR Challenge
Hello,
It was long time since I had made something. I have finally setup my craft room after the move and it is better then ever!!! I organized everything, including my stamp collection. That took awhile.
I am so organized that, I am thinking to start doing You Tube tutorial videos. ( Not sure, haven't decided 100% yet)
My DH got me Copic Markers for Christmas. I officially own the whole set of Ciao Markers. They are so much fun to play with.
So here the card for the Challenge:
The light in my new craft room is "different" for pictures.
I figured that out when I was taking pictures of this project they just didn't come nice.
I decided to bite the bullet and get a light box. I have made one previously myself but it is not as good :(...
I was shopping around in stores and it was super pricey!!. I decided to try E-Bay .. after-all they are all made in china. I was pleasantly surprised how inexpensive it was there including the lights and a mini tripod. ( this is where I got an idea of making YouTube videos... I will have a tripod for my camera).
For the next 3 blogs the picture quality is not the best because of the lighting ( so sorry) but it will get better once I will receive my light box :).
It is so great to create something again!!!
