Hello,
I miss doing more craft then I am right now. But still trying to keep at least 1 card a week. Working longer hours is not cool but I love what I do.
For the card I wanted to combine 2 challenges together: Bling it up by Cheery Lynn and Sew Good by JustRite.
Ok so let's start with saying I suck at sewing. I can do faux stitching but not real one. I really wanted to do the real one it looks so nice on the cards. That being said I have bought singer hand sewing machine. It is just a tiny one. I need more practice at how to keep it straight. I've added some stitching to this card around rose because I wanted to add an accent and more eye movement.
So here is the card:
BACKGROUND: I have embossed JustRite background stamp and then used metallic gelatos. It does really show up on the picture how shiny it really is. I have cut out 2 Cheery Lynn doilies and overlap them. making them part of the background.
FLOWER: I have used Cheery Lynn build a flower 2 petals. Then used clear glitter glue on the edges. Once it's dried I have spraied with a blue shiny mist. ( P.S. I really need to make straying box, my bathroom was all blue after).
SENTIMENT: I have used JustRite sentiment and added Bling.
It's done. What do you think?

DeleteGorgeous ! I'm really loving the fabulous backgrounds you've been making with those Gelatos. Thet never look that good when I try to use them. You really have them mastered. This card is my favorite one to date, it's funny because I think that with every card you do. I love that doily die, and I especially love how you used it here.
ReplyDeleteaww Thank you Shona. It's really easy to play with gelatos :). I find if i combine more then 2-3 colors together they just work better together. Ohh and my secret weapon... make up sponge... So much easier to blend with it. Try it out :)
