I found out early on in my card making learning that I suck
at masculine cards. It takes super effort to create a card for a guy. This card was my attempt to make it. I still
ended up making it too “girly” as my DH said.
But it still came out as a pretty bday card.

I never really get the "guy" card thing :) None of the guys I know like vintage sailing ships particularly, for example, but they keep cropping up from time to time :) My dad worked had on his rose garden and was exceptionally proud of it and we always knew we were onto a winner if we sent him a card with roses on it. Anyway, that's all by-the-by, guy or gal card, yours is lovely! Thanks for joining us for this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Stacey, what a wonderful blend of papers. Thank you for joining us for Playing in Paradise this week.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine calls it "the dreaded man card." That sums it up for me. I *can* do them but they give me palpitations, lol. For what it's worth I love this card - even if it is a tad girly, lol :) Husbands aren't the best at that kind of creative advice!
