Dreaded Male Card

So here we go again I had to make a male bday card. This card was created with intent for a lot of people to sign. There is tons of room for that.

You can actually continue on and add more truly making it a mini album but for my purpose this was enough because the back of it can be used as well.  The trick to this card is to start with the square.

Here is how the card is made:

I've started with 12x12 paper, baby blue paper. Folded them and then glue them together. The cut out 2 pieces of chipboard and covered the edges. Glue my structure together and the basics are done.

I really was trying to stay with manly theme so I decided to use clock / time theme. I have cut out 4 blue squares and 4 ivory ones with spellbinder squares. I have embossed blue squares with Tim Holtz embossing folder  and used background clock stamp for the ivory. Glued them to covered chipboard and put a ribbon in the middle.

I am truly loving my dew drop brilliance. If you don't have it yet... get it... You won't regret it. It dries fast so no smudges :) and it's watersoluable. I have stamped my background in gold and added coffee & gold to show off the embossing clocks.

I was planning to add more die cut clocks on top but when I actually put everything together it was already busy enough.

I used JustRite stamps to get my sentiment and spellbinders labels 20 Kindness cling set  & Thank you cling. Cut it out with spellbinders labels 20 and put them on pop dots.  Added pearls decoration

The front is done.

The back was done very similarly just added my signature stamp and cut it out with the spellbinders labes 20.

Here is how the card looks like when it is all opened up. I have added the pattern paper. I have cut it down to 11.5 X11.5 and then created smaller squares of 5.75X5.75. Then cut those in half.  I have stamped clocked in the inside to match the  theme of the card.

The card would open up like a book.
